Discover Two Health And Wellness Advocates

What’s up webfolk? The last time I posted here for the medicine blog I was talking about a new thing to me called grounding or earthing and I will have to say even now that stuff is very suspect to me  but hey to each their own I suppose. For this post though I wanted to switch gears a bit and shine the focus on something that I have no hesitation in sharing and that is a couple of websites that I found recently that are on the web for the benefit of the people.

Essentially both of these sites are what you would consider to be wellness advocates and their main purpose for existing is to generate the best possible medical information on the web. So that you as a potential patient may make the most informed decision that you can make based on your medical condition. Let’s face it the web has opened up magical medical chest so to speak and we all like to do a quick search and prognosis of what ever is ailing us based on what we find on the web. Rather than just going to the doctor and listening to their diagnosis the majority of us that have some sort of web access will just Google our symptoms and determine from there if we even should bother making an appointment to see a doctor. Hey I am willing to admit that I do that all the time when some kind of strange or new ailment starts to bother me, what about you webfolk?

Well it is from that perspective that I felt like shining the light on a couple of health advocate sites that I have come to rely on over the last year or so that I felt could help some of you out there. Perhaps you have never heard of these sites but here they are the first one is called EmpowHer and this is actually a site that my wife has found to be very useful especially since it is geared towards women. It is still a relatively new site but it growing fast and you will see as soon as you land on their home page why it is becoming such a popular site. They are providing some of the best resources for medical wellness information and a booming community of advocates and experts to help guide all their visitors.

The second site that I wanted to share for this post is called Patient Power and much like the first site the main goal of this site is to inform and empower the patient so that you can make the most informed decision with your health care choices. Both sites were born out of individuals health struggles and both stories are well documented at both sites and they serve as a mission statement for each of the sites and why they exist in the first place which is to be an advocate for the patient.

Until next time kudos to you peruser ;-)
